Baby Maya

Maya in the cutest little headband that my best friend Kristen sent!  Darling, huh!
Here is Mike getting Maya to laugh!  It's so fun to see her smile!

These are the fingers she sucks on to get herself to sleep!  Isn't it cute?!

So Maya Isabel is now more than 3 months old!  Wow.  So far it has gone by so fast...she's sleeping through the night (the last 3 nights), and I know this sounds wierd, but I'm kind of sad that I don't need to get up with her anymore.  Not to mention, my boobs are ready to burst in the morning!  But really, even though I was wasted tired, I cherished those midnight and 4 am feedings.  I feel like the infant time of Maya's life is already gone.  But she is healthy and beautiful and I'm happy that she's growing like crazy!  She loveslovesloves to watch Analia and is actually laughing with her!  These guys are so fun.  My house seriously is full of sounds all the time--crying, laughing, playing, crying some more, then laughing some more, etc.

I love being a mom.

Those are the cutest pictures! The headband looks so cute...Yea! I can't believe how fast she is really growing. When I got back from my girls trip I couldn't believe how BIG my kids seemed. Maverick walks around all the time now so it makes him seem like a toddler and not a little baby anymore. I totally get the "miss not waking up", but then it's nice to have energy and realize how sleep really does help you feel more. So don't start waking her up! I do like that I get "alone" time with the kids. Maverick wakes up before Joselyn in the morning and then Joselyn and I get to hang-out when he naps. So don't worry you will still have "special alone time" in the future...if not right now!

Oh yea, I love your new picture of you and Analia on the beach...beautiful. And I'm excited that you are going to train for Toyoko...crazy! That seems a world away, but really for Guam I guess you are closer, right?! When I was in Nashville it was the marathon that weekend...you could feel the excitement in the air and it was so funny to see people that night hobblying around and knowing it was because they just ran in the marathon or 1/2!!

Oh Nellie! I'm so glad that you decided to keep blogging! yay! Little Maya is SO ADORABLE. Maybe it's just me, but I see so much of you in her! I am seeing more and more of Mike in Analia. That's just how my family is! I look so much more like my dad than my mom and my little sis looks way more like mom than dad. Yet we still look like sisters and like both of them. Anyway, I'm so happy that you've decided to remain in the blogging family and am excited to see all of your future posts! Love ya!

She is such a beautiful little girl! I can't believe she is already 3 months old. I love her hair bow. I love the big flowers on their little heads! That is so exciting that you are going to run in the Tokoyo! Have you guys been able to sell your house yet? When are you moving? Good luck with everything!

I can't believe how different your girls are, but both equally beautiful! I think your home being filled with non-stop sounds is the richest thing in the world. To be blessed to have two healthy girls, to live in a place that can grown and thrive, to have a wonderful husband, to have true happiness, you're a gazillionaire Nellie!

Nellie! Your girls are so beautiful, and I love that you love being a mom like me! I totally remember the middle of the night feedings, and how sweet and quiet and peaceful they were, and I think I missed them too... Good thing I have something to look forward to soon huh! :) I hope I can remember the good feelings this time around! :)
